Polyoxin is a metabolite produced by Streptomyces coelicolor and belongs to the broad-spectrum antibiotic class of fungicides. Has good internal absorption conductivity. Its mechanism of action is to interfere with the biosynthesis of chitin in the bacterial cell wall, preventing biosynthesis and leading to bacterial death. After coming into contact with the drug, the buds and hyphae experience local swelling, rupture, and leakage of cellular contents, which prevent normal development and lead to death. Therefore, it also has the effect of inhibiting bacterial sporulation and disease spot expansion.
